Teaching Philosophy
My pedagogy strives to foster rich decolonial learning spaces that encourage multiple perspectives through community, culture and history. I am a proud teacher who has worked with educators and youth across the nation from Los Angeles to Detroit and New York City. I am continually inspired by my students whether it was my middle school students or seasoned educators who work hard to provide a transformative and rich learning environment for their students. As an educator invested in youth and communities, I am grateful for my experiences and look forward to continuing to build an educational agenda that advances equity and social justice for the greater collective.
